It's been raining for a few days here on the Easy Coast, and while the rain is welcome (the ground has been extremely dry this summer), the girls start getting ansy when they can't get outside to play.
One of the HUGE benefits of having redone our basement (aside from giving me my much needed work room) is that the girls have a place to play and create.
Yesterday we turned my sewing table into a craft table. I had picked up some folding bar stools on my last trip to IKEA (love that place), so I pulled them out along with some scissors, glue and fun decorative paper and WALLA...my workspace became a craftspace for the girls.
No planned project, just random bits of paper, glue, colored pencils, crayons and scissors kept them busy for quite a while.
