Toddler BackPack

A close friend's son turned two this week and I wanted to make him something.  I know my two year old loves to pack up her things in a bag and pretend she is going somewhere, so I thought a little backpack would be a great gift.
Given the amount of time I have for "project sewing", (or lack there of), I needed something that was quick and simple without looking like it was.  I searched the internet and came across this tutorial by Indietutes.

It was just what I needed!  And here is the final project.

The only modifications I did was to add a strip of peltex to the bottom so it would stand on its own and add some velcro to the flap. 

I am very pleased with the results!  If you have a little one, I recommend this pattern...it's simple and the directions are easy to follow.
