The "Sewplicity®" Crayon Tote (Any interest in a pdf pattern offering?)

It's been a while since I've made one of these adorable crayon totes....I used to offer them in my Etsy Shop, however I stopped selling them because they are somewhat time consuming to make and I really need(ed) that time for my high chair covers...
The other day, a customer emailed me and asked if I would make her one (I've made her two in the past).  Of course I could not say no, so I broke out my embroidery machine and got to work.
These are such a wonderful gift for a child.  I wish I had more time to offer them on a regular basis...they are fun to make and lots of love and creativity can go into personalizing them.  I've used cars and monsters for boys and offered ballerinas for girls...the choices are endless.   You could also just use a print for the exterior - no need for embroidery.   Perhaps, if there is interest from my sewing followers, I can try to find the time to write up a pdf pattern for this tote.

Please leave a comment if you would have an interest in me doing so!  The more comments, the more motivation I will have to dig some time to put one together!

  1. Yes, please! Love this idea, this will make a wonderful gift for a child. By making the pockets wider, they could also fit little dolls or matchbox cars.

  3. I would love a pattern for this! Maybe with options for marker size slots, as I have had crayons melt in the car.
