This past weekend I escaped my day to day life with a few friends. We took a short road trip to Baltimore, MD and enjoyed walking, shopping, and laughing.
We arrived late on Friday night and immediately walked over to the waterfront on the Inner Harbor which was right across the street from our hotel (The Rennaissance Harbor Place Hotel Marriott)
This is the USS Constellation which sits in the Inner Harbor.

The next day we took the Water Taxi to Fells Point, a fun place to explore unique shops. We stopped in at the Green Turtle Sports Bar to take a break from the heat.
We continued to walk around with no care of the time. So wonderful!
We spent Saturday night outside on the pier listening to live music and enjoying our surroundings. What a wonderful weekend!
We take a "girl's weekend" every year, and I can't tell you how refreshing it is. It really helps me clear my mind and remember who I am outside my family and business!
