Soy Allergy / Eczema Update & A Miracle Cream

As you may know, my 3 year old suffers from a soy allergy (among others), which has been a root cause of her horrible eczema.

We have successfully eliminated soy from our diets over the past few months (which is not an easy task by the way).  Initially her skin cleared up by about 90%.  We were all ecstatic, as you can imagine.  Unfortunately the results lasted only until Spring pounded us with pollen.  She is highly allergic to that as well and the eczema came back full force.  It was so bad that other children didn't know what to make of her rashy, red, scratched skin.

During the heavy pollen months, the skin around my eyes too had become dry, red and super itchy.  Since I had never had anything like this before, it gave me a small taste of the torture my daughter had been experiencing on a daily basis.  Awful.  Just awful.  I started researching online on what I could use to ease the redness and itchiness near my eyes, and I just happened to come across a forum where people were praising something called "Control Cream" by Mario Badescu.

I started reading about it and found out that not only did it help people with itchy, red eye lids, but people were saying it helped eczema as well.

I'm not usually one to believe everything I read, but I was at a point that I would try anything to relieve my daughter from her suffering.  So even though the cream costs about $30 per ounce, I was willing to give it a try.

As soon as I received it, I put just a thin layer on one of my daughter's arms to test it.  I also put it on my eyelids.  This was around 7pm at night.  When I woke up the next morning, my eyes were almost back to normal and my daughter's arm and her eczema was about 50% better than it had been 12 hours prior.  I even checked with my husband because I couldn't believe my eyes......he agreed that it was working.

I put another thin coating on all her eczema spots.  Within 3 days her eczema was 90% improved.  After 1 week there wasn't a spot on her and I still had 3/4 of the container of cream left.

The best part is that this is an all natural product.  After trying every eczema cream and prescription steroid cream out there, this stuff worked miracles on her skin in 3 days time.

Her skin has never looked so good!

It has now been almost 2 months that my daughter has had clear skin.  I only use the cream when I see a spot of eczema pop up, and it immediately relieves it.  I can't say enough of this cream.

I wanted to share this with you because I have never been so blown away by a product....ever.  My hope is that my post will reach someone else who suffers from eczema and they find that this cream works as well for them.

Oh, and by the way, I am now a HUGE Mario Badescu fan.  I have to say, this company along with their products is truly amazing.
