TUTORIAL: Ruffled Pants

Yeah!  I was able to find some time for a Scrappy Saturday project!

This is a simple tutorial that is extremely useful for our toddlers that grow so quickly.  My two year old seemed to shoot up an inch or so in the last month turning a few of her jeans into capris - not good for the winter.

Anyway, with a little fabric and about 25 minutes, you can add an inch or two and save you a trip to the store.  Even better - these pants end up cuter than anything you can find in the store!

You can download/print the tutorial

TIP:  You can use any way you like to make the ruffle, but I wanted to share this little gem with you.

The ULTIMATE RUFFLER by Janome. This home-sewing machine foot is a universal foot (no Janome needed).  It snaps on to your machine and with a few settings you can easily ruffle or pleat!

VERY COOL.  You can pick it up on Amazon.

Have fun with the tutorial and get a few more months out of those pants!
