My Everyday Bag

So what does a crafter, mom-of-two, Etsy shop owner carry as her own everyday bag?  Well, for the past two years I’ve been carrying different versions of my Must-Have-Tote…most recently one in Dogwood Stripe.

And while I truly LOVE this tote, I decided it was time for a change so I recently changed over to a modified Birdie Sling.

This bag is HUGE, so it meets my “Mommy” needs, but the original design didn’t offer much in the way of interior organization…..and after years of relying on the 6 roomy pockets in my Must Have Tote, I just couldn’t fathom settling for only two.

So, what did I do?  I modified.  Check it out:

Three large pockets on one side, and two on the other (a small one for my cell phone nested on top of a very large one for pull-ups and wipes.

This more than satisfies my need for organization and I still have a lot of room in the main bag for all my other stuff. 

 

I also added a magnetic snap….sorry I didn’t take a picture of it! 

The bright fabrics are from Michael Miller and are perfect for the summer months.  I’ve gotten so many compliments on this bag!
