VIDEO TUTORIAL: How to Clean Out A Sewing Machine's Bobbin Area

Drum Roll Please!
BrrrrruuuuummmmmmmBrrrrrrrruuuuuuuummmmm!

Yes!  My first video tutorial!  If you are new to sewing, or just haven't ventured into the mechanics of your sewing machine, this tutorial is going to walk you through the simple steps to clean out the bobbin area of your sewing machine.

You will need:
  1. A screwdriver (should have come with your machine)
  2. A small lint brush (should have also come with your machine)
  3. A can of spray air (although not necessary, it is helpful)

How often you clean out your bobbin area really depends on how often you sew and what type of material your sewing.  For me, I try to clean my machine once or twice a week because I am a heavy user and I sew a lot of batting which creates LOTS of lint.  If your sewing mostly cotton, and are more of a weekend warrior, you can probably get away with twice a month.

Ready?  Click the triangle to watch!

Since this is new for me, I'd love to hear your feedback on whether or not you like this video thing :)
(And yes, I realize I need to work on my "Um's" a bit)
