KID ACTIVITY: Salt Art

Here is a fun activity to do with the kids on a rainy day.  Chances are you already have everything you need in the house.....

• Construction Paper (or any thick paper)
• Watercolors & Paintbrush
• White Glue 
• Salt

Let your child draw some pictures on with the glue.

Pour salt over the drawings and shake off the excess.

Let this dry completely before you go to the next step!

Here is the fun part.....Use watercolors to gently paint the designs.  You only need a drop and the colors will spread out along the salt lines....this is sooooo cool to watch.  My girls couldn't stop!

Decorate the paper with any other fun stuff you may have lying around - we used heart buttons.
