More Gifts...and New Product!

With the slew of little girl birthday parties we have to attend this month, I wanted to come up with cute, practical gifts.  I thought about crayon rolls, but wanted to do a little more (and make use of all the fun embroidery designs I am accumulating).  So, I came up with this Crayon Tote.

 I know this idea isn't original, but most of the ones I've seen have the crayons on the outside.  I decided to put them on the inside and use a nice heavy canvas for the exterior which not only makes this tote very sturdy and it allows for wonderful embroidery/applique results!

I chose my interior fabrics based on the embroidery design or vice versa.  

And, after getting so much positive feedback, I've decided to offer them in my shop.

The best part is that I not only offer a crayon tote version, but a car tote version for all those matchbox fans!   You can even order one with a mix of crayon and matchbox pockets.

And I am so thrilled that Cynthia from Meringue Designs (my favorite embroidery designer) has featured one of these totes as a sample in her shop!
