RECIPE: Crispy Kale

With our shift to more healthy eating, we have been hunting for a crispy, salty treat and finally found one!  Crispy Kale.  Yup, not a typo K-A-L-E!
Honestly, before making this I never purchased Kale before....but now I buy it every week.  And an entire bunch of it only lasts one day.

INGREDIENTS
1 bunch of Kale
Olive Oil
Sea Salt

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 275'

Wash the Kale and remove the center stems.  Dry completely, break into bite size pieces and lay out on a cookie sheet (I put parchment paper underneath to make clean up a breeze).
Drizzle and toss or spray (if you have a spray bottle of olive oil this step is super easy) the Kale with the oil, making sure to get both sides of the Kale lightly coated.  Sprinkle with salt.
Place in preheated oven.  After 10-12 minutes flip the kale pieces over and bake for another 10-12 minutes.  Check periodically to make sure the Kale does not burn (it will ruin the taste).

Once the Kale is crispy,  remove it from the oven and let cool. Enjoy!
You will be surprised how quickly this disappears!

NOTE:  This does not store well.  Do not put in a closed container as it will lose its crispiness, and be difficult to eat.  Either eat it the same day made, or leave out in an uncovered bowl and eat within 24 hours.

Happy Snacking!
