Quilt Fest

Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the Quilt Fest of New Jersey VII.  I spent over 4 hours at the show visiting booths and talking to vendors. I got to test drive some pretty cool sewing machines, check out some very innovative products for the sewing community.  But best of all, I was able to enjoy the amazing work of some talented people.  Here are some of the amazing quilts that were on display.
 Just beautiful!
I just loved the colors and designs of these two pieces.

I loved the stained glass motif of the quilt on the right....gorgeous!  And the colors of the quilt on the right was breathtaking.

The detail work of this piece was just amazing.  Take a close look at all the stitching (right image)

This quilt was so unique.  The artist actually used a shirt and a pair of jeans.  The quilt was 3-dimensional - the shirt, hair and jeans puffed out making for a very interesting quilt.
The challenge with going to one of these shows is that you pretty much want everything!
I ended up making a purchase that I was thinking about for a while now.  I was offered a show deal that I just couldn't pass up, but I will save that for another post!
