A blog about life as a crafter, small business owner, and stay at home mom with a passion for sewing and photography. This blog is a place to find life-inspired tutorials, pattern and tutorial reviews, sewing tips along with ramblings about my life and family.
There are just not enough tutorials out there for handmade gifts for men....there really aren't - not for practical gifts anyway.....so, today I'm posting one that will not only make your man happy, but will make your day because it is is super simple (and I mean SUPER simple).
All you need is a towel, a grommet, grommet tool and some creativity.
Start with a small towel - nothing too big. I used these bar mop towelsfrom Kohl's, but you can use a hand towel or anything similar.
Embroider, or embellish the towel however you like....
Next measure and mark 2" in from a corner (I used disappearing marker)
Cut a small hole a bit smaller than the grommet (you need a tight fit) and use your grommet tool or grommet pliers to install the grommet.
And that's it! You can add a Carabiner snap hook if desired
These towels run about $15.00 on average in sporting goods stores.....and I promise, yours will be nicer than anything you can buy!
